The best thing about Android OS is it is not limited to handheld smartphones. It is platform independent, hence one can use it on PC, desktops, laptops. We need an emulator to bring the Android experience to desktops. We know of the popular emulator Bluestacks which serves the purpose for running Android OS on PC. However, there is a new emulator in the community which goes by the name PrimeOS. In this post, we will tell you how to Install PrimeOS Android-x86 on any Laptop and PC.

PrimeOS targets to provide Android OS on older PCs. It is based on the Android X86 Project. This open-source project aims to port Google’s Android OS from Smartphones over to the desktops and PCs.  PrimeOS emulator comes from this and is in its Beta stage. It is the brainchild of XDA member TeamPrimeOS. As the name and source suggest, PrimeOS can only run on PC/desktops with X86 architecture.
