How to make rails?
The first thing that you need for making rails is a crafting table. Now the construction of rails requires a 3×3 crafting table. Once you have the crafting table, the next couple of things that you need are six iron ingots and one stick. For making ingots, you need to get iron ore into a furnace. Place the iron in the top shelf of your furnace and feed fuel to the furnace through the bottom slot. Then the heat from the furnace will make iron ingots of the iron ore. As for the stick, you only need to use two wood planks with your crafting table.
Now the construction of the rails depends solely on the arrangement of the six iron ingots and the stick. In the 3×3 crafting table, you will have three rows and three columns. In the first row, place one iron ingot in the first column and another iron ingot in the third column. Then in the second row, place one iron ingot in the first column, one stick in the second column and another iron ingot in the third column. Lastly, in the third row, place one iron ingot in the first column and another one in the third column. To make things easier for you to understand, let’s take a look at the visual representation of this arrangement.
Now 16 rails will show in the box to the right. Simply add these rails to your inventory and you are done.
